Still Chasin' Possums

Thirty years in the business and Fred, Dave and Allen are still chasing possums. Due to increased numbers of hunters, their catches have dropped considerably, but the men reckon you’ve still got to be right up with it - always watching for signs; watching for droppings. Besides being expert trappers and poisoners, the men have developed literary skills and special healing powers. One of them recites his poems. Over the course of the film the individuality and idiosyncrasy of these men’s lives is gradually revealed to be representative of a distinctive way of life.

The Friday October 6 screening is part of Soup & a Seat' so the ticket price of $10 includes a cup of tasty soup. Every Friday lunchtime from 25 August to 20 October we'll be screening a different documentary.
