Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision is New Zealand’s audiovisual archive. We save and cherish the stories, creativity and history of Aotearoa New Zealand in sound and moving images.
We are looking for an Information Management Specialist – Mātanga Whakahaere Mōhiohiotanga who is experienced in implementing good information management processes, practices and initiatives. You will be responsible for providing training, support and advice to all employees to help improve the knowledge of the organisation when accessing past and present information as required.
You will need to have a strong respect for Māori tikanga and te reo Māori.
What are we looking for?
  • A tertiary qualification preferably a degree in Information or Record Management
  • Minimum five years’ recent experience in Information or Records Management including experience with selection, implementation and management of electronic document management systems
  • A good understanding of the requirements of Public Records Act and mandatory standards
  • Sound knowledge of the machinery of government
  • A commitment to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and supportive of both Māori and Pakehā perspectives, language and aspirations.

Salary range $55,818 - $83,726
