Huinga Waka – A Gathering of Waka
Carving, launching and paddling a waka is a huge cooperative undertaking – requiring the knowledge, skill and labour of many people. Only by working together can the waka succeed. As we head to Waitangi Day commemorations, we’re pleased to have partnered with libraries and museums around the country to share Huinga Waka: A Gathering of Waka.
