Stories:
“The extraordinary story of the 19-year-old kiwi girl who fooled millions. She has made it onto the pages of the New York Times, the Washington Post, the LA Times and even onto ABC America, not bad for a teenage girl from Mount Maunganui. Except that is not who the millions of people who watched her YouTube video diary thought she was. They thought she was the 16-year-old all-American daughter of over-protective parents, whose name was Bree, but who was known to millions as ‘lonelygirl15’.  Her video monologues, uncontroversial chats about innocent teenage life became among the most viewed items on YouTube and people believed she was a small town girl from an old-fashioned, religious family, struggling to be 16. Until 'lonelygirl15' was revealed to be Jessica Rose, a 19-year-old actress from Mount Maunganui who had recently moved to LA and been cast in the role by three Americans in their twenties, who wanted to make a YouTube serial disguised as a video blog. We speak to Jessica Rose, who is now very famous, about how she is coping.

Plus... Industrial action at famous NZ Tourist Attraction. Tourists at one of Rotorua's top geothermal and cultural destinations were left wondering what was going on today when a Maori culture group walked off the job. Less than a fortnight ago the group, called Mai Ora, was given notice by its employer, Tepuia. Tomorrow was to have been Mai Ora's last day on the job; instead they walked into the boss's office this afternoon and claimed wrongful dismissal. Mihingarangi Forbes witnessed the walk out and speaks with the Chief Executive Officer of Tepuia, Andrew Te Whaiti about the employment situation. And we cross live to Rotorua to speak with the Kapa Haka group and performer Taini Morrison.

Plus…Fish ‘n’ chips, the healthy kind. We find out if you can have your chips and eat them, without a side order of guilt. We know it's not entirely healthy for us but we do it anyway. The only problem being we do it too much and chips are a high fat food. Thankfully the best chip shop competition is on now and aims to drain a lot of the fat from out chips. But will it drain all the fun? Jaquie Brown investigates." TV3; tv3.co.nz; 20/06/2007
