Current Affairs with John Campbell.
Stories:
“The day Don Brash with no particular fanfare called a media conference in his office and announced he had resigned. Three years and one month he had the job and while speculation had been mounting that he would not lead National into the next election, there can be little doubt that his resignation was hastened by Nicky Hager's book and Don Brash's own handling of it. John speaks with Dr Brash about where he thinks he went wrong.

Plus... P in the Provinces. Crystal methamphetamine – P, we are all familiar with the misery it causes but are we getting on top of it? Not if you believe recent stats showing Customs seizures for the last 3 years of crystal meth, a massive increase this year after a major shipment was intercepted in May and estimated street value so far this year, $100 odd million. Then add the number of pseudoephedrine tablets - precursors to make meth - seized by Customs in the last 3 years - it is in the millions. And remember Customs estimates it intercepts only 10 to 20% of all drugs coming into the country. Where is all the demand for this drug? It is not just the cities 'crystal meth' is throughout rural New Zealand. One Northland town is saying enough, the people of Kerikeri have stuck up their collective hands to admit the community has a major problem that has to be brought out into the open.

And on the eve of Auckland's big stadium decision we look at the lessons learned in the construction of overseas stadiums. Just how easy is it to build a new stadium or update an old one? In England two of the country's best known sports grounds, Twickenham and Wembley are currently going through that very process. European correspondent Rachel Smalley went to both and found two very different approaches." TV3; tv3.co.nz; 20/06/2007
