“From the 18th of December BZP will be banned in New Zealand.
From that date, anyone caught supplying, manufacturing or exporting party pills containing BZP will be liable for up to eight years imprisonment.
Associate Health Minister Jim Anderton who is for the banning of BZP discusses his views, along with Green MP Nandor Tanczos who says the pills should remain legal but controlled.

It is difficult to say exactly how many Kevin J Anderson books there are on bookshelves around the world, but there is somewhere in the region of twenty million.
Thirty-nine of his novels have been best sellers and he is unstoppably prolific.
He is in New Zealand to promote ‘Metal Swarm', book six in his series, ‘The Saga of Seven Suns.’

James Takamore passed away in August. His widow and children wanted him to be buried in Christchurch where they lived for the past 20 years. However, Takamore’s mother, sister and brother wanted him buried next to his father.
They went to Christchurch and took his body to the Bay of Plenty. Police now have orders to exhume his body and return him to Christchurch. Police are hoping that the two sides of the family can come to an agreement over Takamore’s burial site. The Christchurch-side of the family has now been instructed by their lawyer not to speak to the media as they are using legal avenues to get James back.
The Bay of Plenty whanau have been meeting to discuss what to do if the police come knocking at their door. Mihingarangi Forbes spoke to the Bay of Plenty family for their side of the story." TV3; tv3.co.nz; 9/10/2007
