A Concert Programme series "A New Song From the Islands" in which Ross Clark of the Auckland University Anthropology Department and Allan Thomas who lectures in non-Western music at Victoria University introduce music from New Hebrides (Vanuatu), Solomon Islands, Cook Islands, New Caledonia, Hawaii, Papua New Guinea, Māori music, Tahiti, Tonga, and other Pacific Islands.
