Morning report. 1993-06-03, ALLIANCE - SUPPORT UP

Alliance leader Jim Anderton tells Janice Rodenburg the results of the
latest Television One Network News-Heylen poll shows strong public
support for the Alliance and politician Winston Peters to join forces.
The poll showed 38% support for an Alliance-Peters grouping, higher than
scores for the National or Labour Parties. Political scientist Peter
Aimer says Winston Peters is popular because he is in the right place at
the right time. Anna Hughes reports.
