Arch Curry reports on the capture of 180 German prisoners at Cassino, by the Maoris, after very heavy and stubborn opposition. This was the largest number of prisoners taken in any offence at Cassino. Point 193
was heavily attacked by the Germans who had been reinforced.

At 11.00am fighter bombers dropped supplies to Allied troops isolated below the monastery.
