Track 1 - Memories of an unnamed male speaker of El Alamein by Mr. J. H. Curtis. Then it breaks into a recording from off the radio featuring Māori music by Ashley Heenan and sung by Donna Awatere. Also features a war stories competition with a story called The Wahine during WWII on Norfolk Island read by Errol Pike by the Reverend Ray Neills. Philip Liner reads 'A Father's Medal' by Audrey Jones. A story by Father Philippe Burgess of his memories from WWII.

Track 2 - The finish of the story by Father Philippe Burgess. A war story by Vera Hamilton, The Major and the Typist and read by Adrian Smith. Mrs. Kay Mooney wrote 'The day they all come home' read by Jan Schwass. M. McMillan with a story read by an unnamed woman. Maxine Day in South Africa. James R. H. Thorpe 's story called Marama and read by Dudley Scantalbrey?

Track 3 - The end of Mr. Thorpe's story and the announcer reads out the accompanying letter. Ann Russell's story is read by Pauline Ritchie about a trip from Rome to Naples when she was a nurse of WWII. Doug Berry's story about trenches and their description along with other memories. Mr. Bryant from Christchurch has his story read out by an 'old sailor', the presenter.

Track 4 - A recording of a radio comedy programme, title unknown. It ends with a talk on Mount Everest, could be Sir Edmund Hilary.
