A compilation of five audio cuts:

1. A sample of the programme 'Radio Doctor' with a talk by Dr Harold Turbott. He speaks about heart disease and heart attack prevention measures; blood pressure testing; cholesterol; smoking; diet; and exercise. Recorded 13 September 1978.

2. Two former radio announcers, John Walters and Ian Watkins, send 40th anniversary greetings to 2ZA, Radio Palmerston, on 10 October 1978.

3. Sergeant Dan The Creamota Man, three two-minute episodes of 'Sergeant Dan', a children's radio serial sponsored by Flemings Creamota. The programme's comic book style has plenty of nail-biting adventure and enough humour to keep adults listening. There are some nice puns about action-packed breakfast cereals.

4. Opening announcements for Radio Ashburton, with a temporary licence for the Ashburton Centennial. The announcer is George Balani. Recorded on 23 October 1973.

5. The ordination of the first Maori woman to hold office as a priest in an Anglican Church, Reverend Puti Murray. Held at Waimirirangi, Te Kao, Northland, on 11 June 1978.
