A radio documentary about the history of the Royal New Zealand Air Force 75 Squadron, broadcast just prior to the Squadron being presented its Standard by the Queen Mother. The documentary traces the history of Royal New Zealand Air Force 75 Squadron from activities through two World Wars as an RAF (New Zealand) squadron, to its establishment as Royal New Zealand Air Force 75 Squadron and its entry into the jet age, retiring its Mosquito aircraft for the Vampire, and later, Canberra jets.

The documentary covers the aircraft, postings, and missions of Royal New Zealand Air Force 75 Squadron, and notes various medal-winning incidents in 75 Squadron's Second World War history, including the incident which won Sergeant James Allen Ward a Victoria Cross. The origin of 75 Squadron's badge is also discussed.

Several RNZAF Officers, past and present, give their comments - including Air Vice Marshall Cyril Eaton Kay, Flight Lieutenant John Buckmaster, and Aubrey Arthur Ninnis Breckon.
