RAKIURA HEALTH

Hills AM is the Otago Community Access Radio station which has existed since 1990. There are three full-time staff, and the rest of the work, including continuity voice breaks, is done by volunteers.
Two half hour programmes:
Tk 1, MARVELS AND MYSTERIES, produced by Otago Museum. Broadcast 8.30am - 9am Host Lisa Scott plays music, gives news of coming museum events including Albert Einstein exhibition & school holiday sessions for children. News of moa remains found in Mt Aspiring National Park - Curator of Natural Science, Mark Walker, says an egg is part of the find. News of the opening of a new gallery at the museum in August 2002, news of another exhibition, more events. Broadcast date not known but probably 29 June 2002.
Tk 2, KA TANGI TE TITI, produced by Ari Uru te Whare Haurora. Broadcast second Wednesday each month from 12pm - 12.30pm. A health programme presented by Wayne Smith. Music breaks and guest speakers Emma Grant a nurse at Rakiura Health; Tania Angell an aqua tutor at WaterWorks, and a client, Mere Shepherd. Poetry readings. Broadcast date not known.
