Two interviews with Sir James Bisset, Captain of the 'Queen Elizabeth' & 'Queen Mary', during a visit to New Zealand.

First he is interviewed by Mr Wilkins. The Captain shares accounts of Atlantic crossings during the war years, when the Queen Elizabeth carried troops to and from the war. This includes several anecdotes concerning Winston Churchill who travelled three times on her.

In the second interview Sir James Bisset is interviewed by Al Sleeman. He talks about his previous visits to New Zealand, the first on sailing ships.
He tells how he was on the 'Carpathia', the ship that picked up 700 survivors of the 'Titanic'.

He repeats the story of the Queen steering the ship and Churchill sending coded messages and statistics associated with the Queen Elizabeth.
