Michael King talks about the book, Children of the Poor. Peter Butler recalls his political career. It includes actuality of Lee himself recalling episodes of his life.

He recalls getting off the boat from World War I, paying his membership at Trades Hall and joining the Labour Party. They were keen to have a returned man with a DCM, as a member.
