An unidentified reporter is sat in the 'rear lounge' of Elvis Presley's car. He talks to Ernie Thomas, the tour manager for the Cadilac tour of New Zealand, who describes the facilities in the interior of the car. These include a TV, turntable, stereo, gold vanity case and electric shoe buffer (which the reporter is cleaning his shoes on). On the ceiling are copies of the first 6 gold records Presley won.
The car has a powerful engine but is too big to be driven on the New Zealand highways - it has to be taken by trailer.
They also mention that there are two gold-plated phones within the car, one in the back and one in the front; incoming calls are directed to the front, and there is an intercom so Mr Presley can converse with his chauffeur.
