6'41" - John Blumsky accepts the award for Best News Coverage, for his Erebus air crash reporting. Followed by one of his voice reports from Antarctica on the recovery of the "black box" flight information recorder.
9'13" - James McNeish accepts the award for Best Factual or Spoken Programme (Documentary or Feature) for his programme on James K Baxter, "When to Live and When to Die". A long excerpt is played. McNeish mentions the Archives in Timaru at 18'16".
19'49" - An excerpt from a programme on the conservation of the Kiwi is played.

22'39" - A song, "25 Words or Less" performed by Denise Harris and arranged by Dave Fraser is played.
25'49" - An unidentified person accepts an award on behalf of 4ZB.
27'26" - A broadcaster, Barbara (Basham?), talks about her career; the state of radio throughout her career; and role of broadcasters in society during her acceptance speech for Outstanding Contribution to Broadcasting.
