Scrapbook 1967 is programme 3 in a series of four featuring events that happened in Wairarapa in 1967. [Several spoken commercials for Hansell's 'Quench' drink concentrate appear throughout.]

1. The Great Benyon, magician talks about performing in London and a trick malfunctioning. He says performing for the Prince of Wales (later the Duke of Windsor) was a great thrill.

2. Forest ranger Athol Geddes describes facilities at Mt. Holdsworth Lodge which opened on 18th June. It will sleep up to 60 trampers.

3. Mr. H. W. Beaumont, a recent visitor to Israel, talks about the landscape and the conflict between Israel and Syria and Jordan.

4. Brother Hugh, director of St Joseph's College in Masterton, talks about the Marist Brothers' 150th anniversary in June.

5. Mr. Alex Headley, the chairman of the Chamber Music Society, talks about the new Steinway grand piano bought for the Masterton Town Hall.

6. Brian Blackwood talks about the Masterton Jaycees' careers evening.

7. President Gordon Wills Johnson talks about the Wairarapa Museum Society which was set up this year. They are storing historic items in hopes a museum will be able to open in the future.

8. The Waingawa sales yard on decimal currency day 10th July. Auctioneer Doug Springer says buyers seemed to cope with the first time using the new currency.

9. Interview with resigning Masterton public relations officer, Len Bergman. He took up the job in 1962.

10. P.G. Mahoney, chief engineer of the Wairarapa Catchment Board talks about the Lower Valley drainage scheme which will improve drainage and provide flood relief.

11. Miss Mavis Humphries, a former Plunket nurse, recalls Sir Truby King, during the Masterton Plunket Society's 50th anniversary.

12. Venturer Air Scout Alan Woollar talks about restoring an aircraft.

13. On the 24th July, the Governor-General Sir Bernard Fergusson paid a farewell visit to the district.

14. Cowboy singer and evangelist Red Harper visited in July also.

15. Mr. A. Bagnell, chief librarian of the Turnbull Library on writing a history of Wairarapa, commissioned by the Trust Lands Trust.

16. Stan Lane, President of Greater Masterton Incorporated talks about why the region needs a new public realtions officer.

17. Architect Mr. R. Dawson explains the design of the new motor hotel at Solway and its facilities.
