This programme was made twelve months after the 1953-54 royal visit to New Zealand. It consists of narration, commentary, interviews and field recordings.

It includes an interview with an unnamed university student, vox pops with unnamed people, a child from Forbury Park, the first cheers on her arrival at North Head Devonport,
Part 2 - Royal yacht berths, audio of horns, Queen Street crowds and commentary, firsts section from Queen's speech, Man gives account of Hamilton welcome.
Part 3 - Ngaruawahia and Rotorua excerpts including account of child who sat on the stage and interview with child, Rotorua haka excerpt, Kepa Ehau excerpt of interview - mentions how the Queen was an exception to the protocol of a women not speaking on the marae, Mrs Muriwai aged 107 years old excerpt of interview.
Part 4 - Palmerston North, Wanganui, New Plymouth, Wellington, opens Parliament, Nelson excerpts from unknown woman, child Rosalie Merritt of Hampden St School, West Coast residents comment on the visit.
Part 5 - Christchurch - crowds in the Square, Dunedin - Mr H E Alderton interview excerpt, departure at Bluff.
Part 6 - account of holiday crowds. Closing narration.
