Wiremu Kerekere presents a programme of recordings made at the opening of the dining hall "Aroha a te rangatahi a Turahiri" at Whakato marae of the Rongowhakaata tribe of Manutuke, Gisborne last weekend. The ceremonies included powhiri, haka, waiata, the official opening, and speeches.

- Waiata tawhito: Ko Turanga Wahine, Ko Turanga Tane
- Karanga /Haka pohiri/ Haka taparahi.
- Haka: 'Ruamoko' performed by the Waihirere party.

The hall was officially opened by Duncan MacIntyre, Minister of Māori Affairs.
- Kaikōrero: Minister of Māori Affairs Duncan MacIntyre, kinaki - "Taku toa"

The minister presented two photographs for the new hall, one of the carver Rukupo, and the other of the carved wharenui Te Hau ki Turanga, which now stands in the Dominion Museum.
