Bina Peita grew up amongst the Puriri trees of Northland, the trees that smiled approvingly of its people's successes. Recently, a group of Te Taitokerau elders and Radio Northland staff gathered in the foyer of 1XN in Whangarei to welcome and also for the induction of Bina Peita as a broadcaster.
