Geoff Robinson i/v Stuart MacFarlane, a senior law lecturer at Auckland University about a book he has just released on the Mt Erebus disaster. "The Erebus Papers" questions the motives of the Privy Council and suggests that the Privy Council was faced with what they no doubt saw as a naive colonial judge who had failed to understand the existence of his
unspoken duty to the New Zealand establishment when conducting the inquiry.
