Highlighted interviews are taken from the weekday broadcasts of the Mike Hosking Breakfast (6am - 8:30am) and the Leighton Smith Show (8:30am - 12pm). The Mike Hosking segment is broadcast nationwide and the Leighton Smith segment is broadcast in Auckland only. The highlights programme is broadcast on Sunday mornings as part of Sunday Breakfast which also includes a news and sports bulletin, weather forecast and adverts.
