Veronica Allum interviews John Di Stefano about The Best of Transmediale 2003, which screened in Wellington on Monday 9 June 2003. Transmediale is one of the most successful international festivals of electronic media art and media culture in Europe. Transmediale grew out of the Berlin Film Festival 15 years ago. Transmediale screenings in New Zealand are promoted by The New Zealand Film Archive, Massey University, Goethe Institut, and the Moving Image Centre.
