A drama, based on the stage play Once On Chunuk Bair by Maurice Shadbolt, about the New Zealand regiment ordered by their British generals to take Chunuk Bair at Gallipoli in Turkey. Taking three days to battle their way up the ridge in near impossible circumstances, they faced a final horror when they were cut off from supplies and reinforcements.
