A documentary about several people living in the Wellington area: Amy Griffin, Erwin Winkler, Ken Cooper, Anna (now Annea) Lockwood, James K Baxter, Phillipa Grant.

The brief shots of Norman Kirk, Keith Holyoake and Matiu Rata are filmed at a students’ protest rally in the grounds of Parliament. Shots of Baxter delivering mail on hilly Wellington streets. Film includes footage of Lockwood’s Glass Concert performance at Downstage in late July 1967.

Shows Wellington's Oriental Parade and Evans Bay. Sisters from the Home of Compassion serve meals for the down and out. Brief shots of Thorndon’s Katherine Mansfield Walkway.
