Voice of Safety’s intro, “This is the Voice of Safety. Where there is water never leave children unattended.” Re-enactment begins, “Well boys, that’s a good spot over on the riverbank…” Voice of Safety’s outro, “Where there’s water there’s danger, don’t let drownings mar your summer outings”. Announcer’s outro, “That was the Voice of Safety”.

2. A couple arrive at the side of a lake to spot a man waving in distress from the water. They rescue him just in time.

Voice of Safety’s intro, “This is the Voice of Safety. Never go swimming alone, it can be dangerous”. Re-enactment begins, “John, there’s someone waving to us from the lake…” Voice of Safety’s outro, “Never go in swimming alone, it can be dangerous. If you must, make sure you don’t go beyond your depth”. Announcer’s outro, “That was the Voice of Safety”.

3. A couple witness the rescue of children using floats by the surf patrol team.

Voice of Safety’s intro, “This is the Voice of Safety. Rubber Floats can be dangerous for kiddies”. Re-enactment begins, “[Sirens] What’s that? Look over there…”. Voice of Safety’s outro, “If you take a rubber float to the beach this summer, don’t leave the kiddies unattended. Rubber floats can be dangerous for kiddies, particularly on an unpatrolled beach.” Announcer’s outro, “That was the Voice of Safety”.

4. Children want to play with water in the back yard which prompts a discussion by their parents about learning to swim.

Voice of Safety’s intro, “This is the Voice of Safety. Children should be taught water-wisdom, it may save a tragedy”. Re-enactment begins, “Dad, let’s water the garden…” Announcer’s outro, “And even when they can swim, children should never be alone in the water without supervision”. Voice of Safety’s outro, “Make this summer safe, teach your children to swim, the danger of deep water, teach them water-wisdom”. Announcer’s outro, “That was the Voice of Safety”.

5. One fisherman points out the close proximity of a slippery rock to another. However, the warning goes unheeded and as the other fisherman becomes distracted by a big catch, he slides into the ocean, has to be thrown a rope and pulled to safety.

Take particular care when fishing from rocks.” Re-enactment begins, “Don’t go near the edge of that rock Joe, it’s kind of slippery…” Voice of Safety’s outro, “Take particular care when fishing from rocks. Slippery rocks, wind changes and that unexpected wave make rock fishing dangerous”.
