An interview with Kuru Waaka (Te Arawa) by broadcaster Alfred Sanft in Tonga
Kuru Waaka is the director of the Māori Arts and Crafts Institute in Rotorua. This recording was done whilst Kuru and his wife were on a study tour of Polynesia. They are studying the arts, crafts and culture of Pacific people, in the hope that what they learn will be of benefit to their work in New Zealand.
