Passengers coming down the gangplank from the harbour ferry Waireka (one of several ferries which ran sightseeing trips outside the Heads and along to Rerewahine Point, where the SS Tyrone sank). It is likely to be Port Chalmers where they are disembarking. Shot of the Tyrone which ran aground on 28th September 1913. People on cliff side looking at wreck. Pan along shipwreck.

The Tyrone was a steel twin-screw steamer of 6,664 tons, built in 1901 and formerly called the Drayton Grange.
