Passengers assemble on the wharf and board Kewpie one of Fuller’s cream trip boats. Views of houses on shore - boats anchored, yachts and steep rocky cliffs of Cape Brett with sea breaking on the rocks. The Kewpie returns to the jetty, passengers disembark and a new group boards the boat. The Kewpie advertises,“FULLER’S World Famous Cream Trip. Spectacular Cape Brett trip & harbour cruises.” Another cream trip around Cape Brett and the return to the jetty. A “NZ Tourist Air Travel (TAT) Ltd” seaplane, ZK-BGQ, motors from beach into sea before take-off. A dead swordfish is displayed for the camera, then weighed and the trophy fish strung up next to the “Bay If Islands Swordfish Club” board. This notes the fish as a marlin, the fisherman as Mr C. Scott-Hill and date as 5.3.1960. A man with fishing rod and a woman with earrings and black handbag pose by the fish, each holding a fish fin. Next to the fisherman is the ferry driver in his uniform. The film concludes with scenes of surfing and swimming.
