A promotional film for NAC, the New Zealand National Airways Corporation. Includes an historical view and discussion of the 1945 National Airways Act which formed NAC.
Shows parliament buildings, aerial shots of Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Tauranga, Marlborough Sounds, Franz Josef and the Southern Alps, and the Bay of Islands.

Also shows the beaches at Akaroa and Nelson, and the Bathhouse and mudpools in Rotorua. Includes detailed shots of aircraft cleaning and maintenance in the Palmerston North workshops and the international Douglas DC6 aircraft.
