Music video for the title track from the 2006 album ‘Albertine’ by Brooke Fraser.

Recipient of the 2007 APRA Silver Scroll Award for song writing. Brooke wrote the song after visiting Rwanda in 2005 where her Hutu guide, Joël, introduced her to a Tutsi girl, Albertine, who was orphaned during the 1994 genocide.

As Brooke sits at a table, she writes the lyrics to her song in a book. This is edited with footage of Rwandan children and Brooke walking along rural paths. She walks across a bridge with several children, passing by some cyclists and other local people.
