“Set amidst a magnificent limestone outcrop in the South Island of New Zealand, LINCOLN COUNTY INCIDENT is a satiric ‘western’ involving the escapades of diminutive Samson Peabody-Jones who, in 1881, heads west in search of a new life and adventure. He stumbles across a treasure map, is captured by some unsavoury villains and put in danger of his very life. It takes a miner’s ghost, a mysterious parcel and finally the whole US cavalry (well almost) to bring the story to a happy ending.” - publicity material.

LINCOLN COUNTY INCIDENT was made by students and staff of Lincoln High School in Christchurch.
