A large crowd seated outdoors at Buckingham Palace, view the investiture by King George V of several nurses and army personnel who served during World War One, including a New Zealand officer. Thought to have taken place on 3rd of May 1919

Also on the Royal dais is Queen Mary, other royals, and Winston Churchill. F.M. Haig and his army commanders are in front of the dais. They view the march past of New Zealand and Australian troops who continue their parade through throngs of people lining the streets, including some watching New Zealanders.
