You can see our film compilation on the Auckland Live big screen in Aotea Square tomorrow (18 December) at 10am, 12.30pm and 5pm, and on Thursday (19 December) at 12.30pm, 4.45pm and 9.45pm.

Our holiday season hours

Our offices will be closed from 23 December and will reopen Monday 6 January. Our research service in the Katherine Mansfield Reading Room as well as the Ngā Taonga desk in the general Reading Room will close on Friday 20 December as the National Library is closing these facilities on Saturday 21 December. 

Our Rust + Restoration He Waikura He Whakauka exhibition will close at 1pm on 24 December, reopening on Friday 3 January 2020.
