Stories:
“On August 12 in the central North Island town of Murupara, a man named Te Ngahue Bird died as a result of a stab wound to his chest. A 33-year-old man was charged with murder but is out on bail, which is not unprecedented in murder cases, but in this case the accused himself was surprised to get bail. We hear from both the accused and the family of Te Ngahue, who are asking why the man charged with killing their brother has been set free on bail. And to help answer some if these questions we are joined by the Minister for Courts, Rick Barker.

Plus... Opportunities out East. The biggest ever trade delegation to represent New Zealand heads up to Shanghai tonight;120 business people and trade delegates and the Minister of Trade, Phil Goff. New Zealand and Chinese officials have been negotiating for a free trade agreement but any  announcement is still months away. If we do become the first developed nation to have such a deal with China, entrepreneurs here will need to brush up on how to do business there. Kim Hurring looks at the does and don'ts of trading with China.

And the Beauty and the Boxing Ring. The Ringside Corporate Boxing Gym in Auckland has finally found two women prepared to go up against each other for a charity bash this Saturday. 30-year old Tracey Mellis will take on 36-year-old Roz Grey and are both working as hard as they can to be ready for the fight."
