Current Affairs:

Interviews with Winston Peters and Hamish Keith.

“New Zealand First Leader Winston Peters has been less visible in recent months as his Foreign Affairs portfolio has seen him spend a great deal of time offshore, and he's achieved some success in the job with the Americans acknowledging his call for them to place more emphasis on the Pacific, but back home his party poll rating has languished below 5% and now there are reports of dissent within the party ranks. His caucus met for two days this week to take stock of their position.

Earlier this week the Ministry for Culture and Heritage released a proposal to give royalty fees to artists whenever their work is onsold, the current proposal would see a 5% royalty paid to the artist or their surviving relatives, the idea behind the tax is to encourage visual arts but not everyone thinks it's a good idea, [such as Hamish Keith]. agendatv.co.nz, 25/05/2007
