Chris Kahui - accused of killing his twin baby sons - has been released on bail after already breaching his bail three times. Kahui is the first to take advantage of the Government's Bail Amendment Act.

Prime Minister Helen Clark has met Gordon Brown for the first time since he became the new Prime Minister of Britain. Brown left Clark outside of the Prime Minister's residence on Downing Street to talk to the media after their meeting.
