Padre Captain Chaplain K. T. Harawira introduces Captain F. T. Bennett. He speaks (in English) about the depletion of the Battalion's field officers during the Libyan campaign and how he was commanded to take over B Company when Major Rangi Royal was wounded at Gazala. Captain F. T. Bennett comments about Company Sergeant Major Martin McRae's tireless and energetic efforts. He then talks about the orders given for Ngāti Porou C Company to take Point 152 on the 17 December 1941. They were supported by Arawa B Company and with New Zealand machine gunners in their ranks. By nightfall Point 152 was no longer in enemy hands and they were then ordered to move forward to Point 154 to support Ngā Puhi. The next morning the enemy had fled from Point 154.
