Theatre on the move. Ian Johnston talks with Gaye and Colin Edgecombe, a semi-retired couple who have been travelling around New Zealand in a motor home for the past 25 months. Gaye is a freelance theatre director and producer, and has been getting involved in theatre productions as they travel around. Colin does a little bit of stage setting work, but mostly enjoys meeting locals and trying new activities.
Gaye comments that she has enjoyed meeting people the most; having held theatre auditions in many towns, she has managed to meet most of the locals and made a great many friends.
