New Zealand and the Vietnam Crisis

A televised debate rebroadcast on radio (probably 2YA), in which Government and Opposition politicians debate New Zealand's position with respect to committing or withdrawing assistance to Vietnam, and the best strategy to counter Asian communism.

The work of New Zealand engineers and the medical unit at Qui Nhon are discussed.

The most active participants in the debate are National MP Robert Muldoon and Labour MP Hugh Watt.
