Abrahams, Harold Maurice, 1899-1978, Commentator

This recording features radio commentary by Harold Abrahams (BBC athletics commentator and ex-Olympic athlete) of the 1500 metres final at 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin, won by New Zealander Jack Lovelock.
Abrahams was a close friend of Lovelock and this commentary has become famous because of his exhortations and comments: "Come on Jack" and "My God he's done it" as Lovelock wins.
