NZ Poly Festival - 1973

The second NZ Polynesian Festival was held at Arawa Park in Rotorua, 24 and 25 March 1973. The winners of the inaugural Festival in 1972, Waihirere, again was one of Te Tairawhiti's representatives.
The group came 7th in the aggregate. Mawai Hakona of Upper Hutt emerged as the winners.
