Tono kōrero mai

"Maioha" is a project undertaken by the Freemans Bay branch of the NZ Māori Women's Welfare League during 1993, to mark the United Nations Year of Indigenous Peoples and also the centenary of women's suffrage in Aotearoa.

Sixteen Māori women have been interviewd regarding their vision aspirations and success in whatever field of endeavour they have chosen.:

Ko ngā kōrero kei runga i tēnei rīpene, ko te kuia nei ko Kohine Ponika (Ngāi Tūhoe). He wahine rongonui ia mō ana mahi tito waiata. E ai ki ngā kōrero o ētahi tāngata, i ia e tito waiata ana, e, ko te ringaringa kē o te tohunga e tito kupu ana.
I haere a Puhi Rangiaho ki te kōrero atu ki ai a, mō te whakakaturanga o Maioha.
