- Recommendation : That the Waitangi Tribunal be given retrospective
powers to 1840 to hear grievences and that adequate resources be made
available to the tribunal and to applicates to ensude that grievences are fully
researched.
- that Māori Land Courts be given wider powers not less than equal to the
High Court of New Zealand.
- that the Māori Land Court and the Māori Affairs follow recommendations
of Royal Commisions to do with Māori issues.
- not only should the beds and lakes be returned to the owners, but also all
rights in respect of the water should belong to the owners too.
- there should be changes in procedures of the Māori land court the
prevention of Māori land being alienated.
- that a body 50% elected by Māori people, 50% elected by the remainder
