Māori Teachers hui:
- kaikōrero: Waiotemarama Wānoa, Perehitini o te roopu tautoko i te Reo Māori ki te Tairāwhiti. I tū tēnei hui mō ngā kaiako Māori ki Rātana Pā.
He believes that all kaiako from Kōhanga Reo tō Kura Rua me ngā Whare Wānanga should all support each other in terms of te Reo Māori, that they should combine resources tō strengthen their kaupapa. One of the reasons for the hui was to form a committee to engage kōrero with other committees so they can be heard.
NB: Whilst education for Māori has moved on from 1984 to today 2007, this is still very good and constructive kōrero from Te Waiotemarama Wānoa.
