Kupu Korikori: Bishop Muru Walters - talks about - who settled in Aotearoa first ?
Were there other inhabitants here before the coming of the Māori or Moriori ?

Kokako: Rena Owen part 2: Last week Rena talked frankly about her extraordinary life. We heard how she grew up in a small Northland town where she discovered her love for the stage before moving to Auckland and training as a nurse. We also heard how Rena moved to London at age 22, dabbled in hard drugs, became addicted to heroin and was incarcerated in a London jail. Determined to overcome her addiction, Rena took acting classes in jail, and on her release, had her first break playing an ex-crim in a London stage production. 10 years later she was riding high on the success of Once Were Warriors. In part two of our interview with Rena, we start by looking at the making of 'Once Were Warriors'. She talks about how she thought of retiring after making 'Warriors' as she felt fulfilled creatively. Money doesn't attract her to roles as much as quality scripts, (not B grade), that she could show her grand-children with pride.

Mika - 'Kapai Cabaret' recorded excerpt of the Show. ( about 30minutes )
