This item is a Land Transport Safety Authority advertisement that addresses the importance of wearing seat belts. In the advert, a family is seen at the beach. It cuts to the family packing up their car. While driving, a car ahead of them goes into their lane, towards them. The car with the family is seen swerving, to avoid the oncoming car and then looses control. The car is seen rolling down the cliff. It fades to black and then fades up to a wide shot of whānau attending a tangihanga. It ends with a close-up of one of the children who survived the accident looking down at the graves. Text appear on screen annotated “Always wear your safety belt” with the ‘Land Transport Safety Authority’ and ‘New Zealand Police’ logos.
