“Shows the work of the New Zealand Presbyterian Mission in the Kharar district, East Punjab, India. This film is centred round the story of a boy called Karnai. It shows the missionaries camping near his village, services and village school, Kharar Boys' School and Kharar Girls' school, Kharar Church and Mashal printing press. In this film are seen Miss Sutherland, Miss Mathew, Dr WM & Mrs Ryburn, and the Rev DM & Mrs Riddle." (Information supplied by Donald Cochrane , Curator of Photographs, Knox College, 25/03/08)
