THE LAST TRAIN

A steam engine locomotive passes through small South Island towns on its last journey. Large crowds are gathered at Trafalgar Street in Nelson. A brass band parades down the street. People intermittently gather along the railway route and at a number of stations such as Wakefield, throughout the journey.
